We had a conversation about fields the other day because hey I’m still roaming these parts that I grew up in and in these parts fields are everywhere.
The conversation got me thinking about a lot of things pertaining to fields and open spaces and what’s on the other side of open spaces and how that can lead to a little imagination mixed with a little daydreaming and painting and taking photographs and documentation in general.
And it got me to thinking about my favorite fields, the ones I’ve been motoring past for over 30 years; how they’ve changed (or not), why I am drawn particularly to them, and how I have never properly explored any of them and have no idea what lies beyond or to either side of them.
So this report is a look at five fields I’ve grown up with. And I don’t think that this is the end of the matter.
