Prinzessinnengärten, Berlin via Field Office
I’m happy to report that the Prinzessinnengärten is still with us and hasn’t been mowed down (yet) for luxury condos. I’ve written about this place before but for those who are new here, it is really one of those Berlin spots that is so unique. It is a community garden with a cafe in the middle, a flea market on the weekends, and there are always all sorts of interesting projects going both onsite and off. This past visit introduced us to the MicroGreens Airstream trailer. Notes have been taken for future reference on just exactly how they made those insane pop-up doors off the side. Also a funny little “photo booth” made out of wood with a fax machine on the floor. ?

  • I adore this. I have never been to Berlin but whenever I make it there, I hope this is still around. I’m in love with that wooden and rickety photo booth.

    • Thanks Yelle! I hope it’s still there, too! And if you go, Modular (the store mentioned in the previous post) is just next door!
